FYI, Ms. Blundish and Mel aren’t major characters. I just created them for the prologue. I had fun writing and drawing for them, though, so they might be back some day.

"At some point, they dammed the river to form the beach. The structure coming up back here is the Grackle Building... in relation to the skyline, then, our library would be situated just to the left of frame."

"If we were gathered on this spot a hundred and thirty years ago, we'd all be underwater."
3:
"...and if the spring millage doesn't pass, we'll still be underwater!"

"Yes. Well. That's all I got..."
