I try my best to alert people when their sketches are going up, but I couldn’t find any current contact info for Linda Medley. Still, this is too good not to share. Linda is, of course, the creator of Castle Waiting. Read more about her here.
“I am a rancher and now it takes 200 calves to buy a pickup. It used to take only 35 to 40.”
Donna Barr writes: “Donna Barr is shocked – SHOCKED! – when old things she drew show up. And usually has to turn them around a few times before she remembers what they were about. Access to more confusion (and many books resulting therefrom): donnabarr.com“
“My keys got stuck in the ignition. They won’t come out and the dealer can’t get them out. It’s been 3 months.”
More Sean Bieri. Now this project has 2 things tagged with his name (and oh yes, there’s much more to come)!
“That car has the worst interior lighting. It’s like walking into a black pool. I gave that car to my wife.”
Bob Corby writes: “Wow, 1999! I don’t remember doing that. I had more brain cells back then and a steadier hand.”
Bob’s been active in small press comics for years, doing all manner of interesting projects. He also coordinates the annual SPACE expo in Columbus, OH, where I’ve passed sketchbooks around many a time. Watch this space for the resulting sketches!
“The wind noise is especially noticeable at 125 MPH.”
Continuing on our wind noise theme, here’s a sketch by Matt Feazell. That looks like Cynicalman behind the wheel. You can see more of him at the eponymous cynicalman.com.
